General Information
Production
Folio Weekly will create, typeset and lay out advertising at no cost and is printed by the web-offset method. Advertising material must be submitted electronically via e-mail (design@folioweekly.com) or on disk (cd); all art and fonts must be included with file. Please obtain complete details on camera-ready specs from your sales representative.
Deadline
Folio Weekly is published every Tuesday. Space reservations are required by 5 p.m. Tuesday, seven (7) days prior to publication date. All materials (i.e., copy and approved rough) for building an ad are to be in at that time. Camera-ready advertising (meaning it needs no typesetting or camera work) must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday of the week prior to publication.
Cancellation
Cancellation must be received by Wednesday, 12 noon the week prior to publication. Space reservation is a contract to buy space, regardless of proof approval. Ad proofs are run for typographical corrections only. When time permits, copy changes and make-overs can be made.
Credits and Payments
Payment is due with copy until credit is approved. Invoices are due net thirty (30) days. A monthly late charge of 1.5% will be assessed per month on any unpaid balance. Any claim for rate adjustment or any other matter concerning payment must be made no later than five (5) days after publication. Delinquency in payment of 60 days will result in the loss of the frequency discount and the payment of a short rate. No further ads will run until account is paid. Advertiser agrees to pay all reasonable costs of collection of past due invoices.
